Mommy & Me

Finally got a picture together!

I love you, Blaker!

Happy Easter

Easter Eggs

This was the first year we dyed eggs. I'm not a fan of doing this or carving pumpkins - however I know I need to just do it. This first picture shows how nice the eggs looked 'before' Blake decided to re-dye them all. We ended up with some brown eggs and nasty colored green ones! :) He had fun though!

Happy Birthday, Jenny!

A couple weekends ago, Thomas threw a surprise party for Jenny's birthday at the Cellar. She didn't have a clue - so fun. We played "The Cereal Box Game." Everyone was so skeptical at first - but it turned out to be hilarious!
Here is the game: You take a cereal box, open it, remove cereal and all four flaps. Set it on the ground...only your feet can touch the floor and only your mouth can touch the cereal box. If your knees, hands, elbox, shin, anything touches the floor - then you're out. After everyone picks up the box at it's orginial height and stands back up, then you cut 1 inch off the top. Then everyone picks it up again with their mouth. You keep cutting 1 inch off until everyone is out...
Or in our case - there was no more to cut off - so we had to quit. You'll never guess who the tie was between...Angie Miller and BRIAN CHASE! Unbelievable! I still sit and laugh at the fact that he can get that low...craziness!

Jenny & Thomas

! So surprised !

Jenny....

Thomas....

Zack....

Brian's last attempt - and he GOT IT! It took him a few tries to get his legs back together! He said he was a little sore in the groin the next day....wonder why.....

Erin! Oh my - she picked up the stinkin' box like this every time. She made it look SO easy. In her defense...she would have beat Brian but people made her laugh and she hit the ground. She was a little upset and said, "Great, my husband can officially beat me at everything!" Don't worry, Erin, we all know you would have won! :)

My Football Player

This is a daily outfit at some point - he loves football! As he was giving me his "mean face," he posed and immediately stood up and said, "my have to pee right now!"

Last week at Mamma's Day he got a mouth guard. He actually has it the right way in this picture. Normally, he has it protecting the bottom teeth.

He was pouting and fell asleep in his football outfit...gloves and all!

So sweet when they're sleeping!

Gotta Love The Winter

Blaker has had a rough winter - between the three of us - it's just been rough in general! Blake's recent virus was funky. It was just on his face - looked like someone poked him with a needle everywhere. The picture just shows the redness - but up close it looked like little pin pricks.
The virus was also accompanied by a cold and ear infection. We just had his checkup for the ear - and he has had entirely too many this winter (second winter in a row)...so we head to the specialist on the 29th to be sure he doesn't have fluid behind his ears....(second winter in a row).
Last year we did the same thing and had to wait three weeks to get in to the specialist and then they cleared up and didn't have another infection until this winter. So I really hope by waiting again for three weeks - everything will be fine and we won't have to get tubes. But at the same time - I feel bad for the little guy - so really whatever to make him better!!!

Quality Time

While I was off coaching most weekends, Zack and Blake had some much needed quality time. Blake always wants to play football or baseball on the PlayStation. Zack finally let him play. It was fun to watch them - Blake enjoyed it and Zack thought it was frustrating. :)

Warm Weather

Blake and I went for a walk with Aunt Ashley a few weeks back. He really liked the walk - and so did I...he fell asleep. Now I just need my "trailer" for my new bike so we can go for rides. I am opting out for the seat to put on the back because he would pester me non-stop if we sat that close! :) He watches his father way too much....

Gymnastics Meet

Kaci had a gymnastics meet that was actually close to here, so Blaker and I went. He thought it was cool, of course. Especially because he got to see his old gymnastics teacher. Kaci did a really good job! She's improved so much - I can't wait for next year.

Kaci is third from the right - 5th Place

So Proud...

So - while Blake was so quietly playing, I decided to go put clothes away. He came to get me (he was super excited). He said, "Mom, my did it! Come see." So I walked out to this...

I was so mad but wanted to laugh at the same time. He took ALL the stuffing out of my couch pillows. I looked at him and didn't even say anything yet, and he said "My sit in timeout right here." And he immediately plopped on the floor.

I made him sit in his bedroom because I wanted to take a picture but I didn't want him to see me do it. Glad I can laugh about it now....

Coaching

Here are a few pictures from the basketball season. Blaker enjoyed helping mommy and pappa coach. :) It was so FUN and FRUSTRATING to coach 4th graders. It was so good to see light bulbs start going off. It's really cute too!!

This picture will haunt him some day, I'm sure! :)
