Alumni Basketball Game

Over the weekend there was the 1st Annual Alumni Basketball Game. Zack, myself, Brian, Nate, & my dad all played. It was so fun to see everyone and they had a great turn out. It probably filled 3/4 of the gym! There was also Alumni Cheerleaders.....they were impressive!

This pictures is the girls 21 Years Out & Over. They played 6-on-6. I had never seen it played before - very interesting. And very glad that it isn't played this way anymore! :) The lady that is shooting works for my dad.

I put this on here because when my dad came out of the game - Blake walked down and said, "good job, Papa! Give me five!" He did it by himself - so it was really cute!

Mr. Figge was there watching - so they announced him has the Alumni Coach! He thought it was funny - so he came and sat on the bench!

For Luke - Here are some of the people that played. the Boyd girls, Schelier family, Dan Mahoney, Matt Hodges, Isaac Seay, Julian Seay, Matt McGhghy, Erin Barnes, Danny Thrush, Shelly Gorham, Jody McDowell, Annie Mahoney, Jud Miller, Clyde Rosecrans, Brian Williams, Rob Thymes, Mike Miller, Juan Cooper, Craig Huston, Tyron Seay, Broc Galbreath, Matt Morgan, Eric Larson, Todd Miller, Jim Dennis....

Christmas Party

We decided to have a Christmas Party awhile back. It was a lot of fun. We did a gift exchange where everyone brings something - we had some naughty, nice, fun, weird, etc. gifts!

Decorating for Christmas

Okay - for those of you that haven't been to our home recently - we have this UGLY deer head hanging in our living room. I think it is creepy, especially the way it tilts and feels like it's staring at you. I told Zack that it would be decorated at Christmas if he hung it up - he thought I was joking.

I was being sneaky and did this - I tured around and Blake had been watching me and he giggled and said, "Mommy silly!" Zack noticed about 20 minutes later. The decorations have been removed and vanished - I can't find them anywhere! :(

Christmas Day

We had a good Christmas - so much fun to watch Blake. He was totally oblivious to what was in the package until each piece of tape/paper was removed. Then he would roll it over and be so excited!

Here he is in his new football outfit....shoulder pads and all.

He had to tackle someone.....Aunt Kaci was the closest person!

Every Wednesday is "Grandma's Day" and Blake usually helps do laundry. Brandt's football jersey or baskeball jersey are usually down there. So Blake likes to convince Grandma to let him wear the jersey's. So Bubba decided Blake needed his own....

Kaci & Brandt got a house dog for Christmas. Blake was so excited. They hadn't decided on a name when we arrived, but they were leaning towards Jack. Blake has a toy horse at Mama and Papa's that he has named Murray....for whatever reason he called the dog Murray. So then the dogs name became Murray. By the end of Christmas night - the dog's official name is Cooper.

Daddy had to have his own gift - so he bought Blaker a fishing pole!

Blake loves his new Mrs. Potato Head - yes Mrs. Blake doesn't mind - but someone else made sure he let "Santa" know that Mrs. was purchased and not Mr.! I kept it anyway!

St. Louis Christmas

Before I say this - Brian, Luke, Pj, and whoever else - no making fun of my boy! :) Blaker has been into babies lately, so he loves holding Baby Aubrie! Blake had so much fun playing with his cousins!

Ice Storm

We had an ice storm right before Christmas. It was so stinkin' cold! Blake enjoyed the icicles!

California

Blake and I had a great time in California! He did so well for being away from home for 9 days and for being on the go as much as we were! The pictures are not in any particular order. But we went to Midaevil Times, Disneyland, Hollywood, Santa Monica Beach, Laker's game, 50's Sock Hop....a ton of stuff!

Kaci did an awesome job at the pageant! She received a National Ambassador Award (sash & big crown) for raising so much money for the program. I believe she raised almost $3,000. She did far better than I expected she'd do! It was fun to watch her up on stage and listen to Blake get excited when she would walk up there!

This particular pictures was on Thanksgiving at the banquet. I had to wake him from his nap and it was one of those days where it was a MUCH needed nap.....and would have preferred him to sleep 6 hours if he needed too! So after a meltdown because he didn't want to eat - we compromised with a lick of a sucker and then a bite of his dinner! Whatever works sometimes!!!

This was at Disneyland during the lighted parade. The chipmunks walked by, and he would NOT stop yelling "AAAAALLLVVVIIINNN!" He loves Alvin & The Chipmunks so it was hilarious. Even after the parade was over and we were walking out of Disneyland - he was still yelling for Alvin. :)

I don't have any pictures of Blake with a Disney character because he wanted nothing to do with them. He got out of his stroller to run around with my dad. When he took off running - and made a huge circle right back b/c Mickey Mouse was walking by! :) I don't think I've ever seen him run so fast! He liked them to be distant.
