Trip to Bonkers

Sunday we decided to head to Quincy for Blaker's first trip to Bonkers. He wasn't too thrilled by all the other little kids running around him. We finally found the toddler section, and he was having a great time! My camera battery died, so my sister has some really good pictures.

The Rally Ride

My parents purchsed this bus. They've decided to call it "The Rally Ride." Zack thinks it should be painted black with purple and white lettering. We drove it up the driveway and back. It will be so much fun! Blake thought he was hot stuff since he didn't have to ride in the car seat.

Wedding

Bobbi & PJ FINALLY got hitched last weekend! It was so much fun. I was so honored to be a part of it. Below are some pictures from the day!

Daddy's Cowboy

Zack went to Farm & Home to spend his birthday gift certificate....and here's one of the things we found! Blake was so proud when we put them on in the store - daddy couldn't resist. They're so stinkin' cute! The bottom picture absolutely cracks me up! I love it!!!

Brush Those Teeth!

We've started having Blake brush his teeth. He's not too crazy about us doing it for him at first. So I just let him suck on the brush for a minute or two, and then I'll brush his teeth...while he laughs hysterically! lol He's so much fun!

Father's Day

Zack's first Father's Day consisted of sleep, sleep, and more sleep. We went to a Martina McBride concert the night before, so we were dead! Blake felt like sleeping a whole bunch too....it was nice! And just what Zack wanted! haha

Zack also enjoyed fishing - well there was a lot of talking smack with my family members because Zack didn't catch a thing. Needless to say - we now have our OWN fishing pole and accessories! The plan is to show 'em up! Men never grow up, do they?! lol

Blake loved riding the 4-wheeler with Jeremy! He also enjoyed attempting to eat rocks!

9 Month Picutres

Well, I'm a little late on this because Blake is almost 10 months...but I still wanted to share. Here is his 9 month pictures. Usually, Blake is so quick and easy taking these photos, but this time was a different story! Now that he's mobile, sitting still is not something he does. But they still turned out adorbale, just took a little more work this time! :)

First Haircut

Well we, or I should say I broke down and let Blake get his first haircut. Zack has been telling me for weeks now to cut it. I ignored it because I just wasn't ready for it. But after being in Wal-Mart or Hy-vee and people stopping me and complimenting how dark his hair is, blah blah blah, and then throwing the comment, "He really needs a haircut," I figured why not! lol He looks absolutely adorable....and even more like his daddy!

It turned out a little blurry, but I love this picture with the cape. It didn't stay on too long though!

What are you doing to me?! He was a trooper!

Good job, Blaker! We gave him whatever it took to keep still. I believe we had sprinkles, softball, car keys, etc. He even sat still for Grandma to use the buzzer. (i have no idea what it's really called! :)

Aunt Ashley and Jeremy fixed us dinner last week. Blake and mommy stopped for a pose!

Mmmm! Well, Blake LOVES dilly bars. He makes the most hilarious face while eating them because it's so cold....but he always comes back for more!

Daddy went hunting last weekend and killed his first turkey with his new bow. He was SO excited - I'd love to share the story in person! :) (I love you honey!) haha

Here are the two boys! Blake kept crawling on top of it, and I was freaking out. Zack just laughed at me, but I truly thought it was disgusting!

Blake has been sleeping in the most odd positions lately. He's actually been sleeping like this quite a bit lately! So cute though, isn't it?

Well, these 84 cent magnetic letters and number have got to be the cheapest toy I have ever purchased.....and the best toy! Blake loves them so much! He gets them off so fast though!

Aunt Ashley and mommy worked outside ALL day tearing up the flowers and planting new ones in front of our house. We ended up buying this pool for Blake at Wal-Mart too. He likes swimming so far! Aunt Kaci thought it was pretty strange to swim in a pool that small! :)

Blake loves playing with his football, basketball....actually whatever kind. He likes to roll it back and forth. Every now and then he tries to throw it too. He's getting ornery these days!!!

Des Moines Visit

We went to Des Moines over the weekend. My college roommate got married up in Iowa Falls, so we stayed in Des Moines with some friends. It was a great weekend...especially because I got to go to TARGET! The Target close by is nothing compared to Des Moines. I was thrilled! :) haha

This is my friend from college and her husband. They live in Newton. We stopped by their home on the way back to Keokuk.

Sarah and I took Blake for a walk after lunch. It was SO hot and he still managed to fall asleep. :)
Zack and Trygve had a great time catching up. Their neighbors actually came over, and they all played cards for a few hours.

Ava

Brian, Erin, & Ava stayed with us a couple weeks ago. Ava loved this - she caught on very quickly!

Blake kept tackling Sterling (belive it or not..haha) Sterling sat there and looked at him like "what do you think you're doing." Kacie and I were cracking up!

We finally! decorated Blake's walls. I didn't want to hang a thing until I had enough to hang everywhere. Zack was thrilled!

After we were done hanging everything, Blake and Zack were playing on his Harley. He stayed by himself - so Dad was excited!

Um, we weren't to fond of the hammering going on! I love it though!

This is a shirt his Aunt Ashley made for him. It's a temporary one until the one he wears now is too small! It's a little different though, but it is an awesome one!

Here is the football jersey he got for Christmas. Aunt Ashley put his name on the back for us! I couldn't wait to frame it because I was so proud of the idea! Yeah, yeah - I'm a dork!
