New Boots

Well, the weekend was actually descent here. Blake got to play outside both days. Saturday we went over to the park and let him run - literally. He took his football and loved the mud and water! I decided that maybe he should get some rain boots so we don't ruin all of his tennis shoes. As you can see - he got used to them pretty quick! I think Sterling needs a pair for the weather in Japan?! What do you think Luke & Kacie?!

New Visitor

Lance Whitson stopped for a visit over the weekend. We had a nice time catching up with him. Blake finally warmed up to him!

Football

As I've posted many times - Blake LOVES football. He plays nonstop. I have finally recorded the playoff games and keep them saved on our DVR so I have football for him to watch. He loves to play and watch at the same time....usually mocking whatever is on. It's so fun to watch!

Bella SueAnn Crew

Here are pictures of our visit last weekend to meet Bella. She is such a doll! Blake enjoyed holding her....for about two seconds at a time. He did get quite jealous of me holding her. He would run to Becca and say "Baby. Baby." And then run back to me and point to Becca. So Becca finally asked him, "Do you want me to hold the baby?" And blake said "okay!" It was cute!

We stopped to eat in Iowa City at Texas Roadhouse and Blake enjoyed stomping all all the peanuts.

Pouting....already!

Last week we watched Aija few an hour and decided to take her and Blake to eat at Hy-Vee because they both love rice so much. Blake is yes, pouting, in this first picture because he wanted to drive the cart. I told him he had to eat more first. Obviously he disagreed! The second picture is of him and Aija. This makes my grocery shopping SO much easier!

Boys will be boys!

A few weeks ago, we stopped in Macomb to see Andy's new church. The boys had fun playing with the sound system and on the drums. It was fun to watch them all have a good time!

Watching Paigey!

We check blogs every day, and Blake loves to sit and watch all the videos. The other day he sat at the computer and watched the one of Paige counting over and over. I believe the one I taped of him watching is when Maddox was rolling over. He just loves to hear Paige - he usually keeps saying..."agey?!"

And this video isn't very good because when I finally decided to get the camera out, he thought he need to play with the keyboard and stuff. Enjoy!

Here is the shirt that Luke & Kacie bought for Blake when they were in Thailand. I believe they purchased it for us before Blake was even born. I don't remember for sure. But anyway - we're finally able to wear it! I asked him to show me his shirt....

Since Blake received several bottles of bubble bath for Christmas, we've been using them like crazy. He really likes the bubbles until he ends up eating some.....

We're Back!

Okay, okay - I decided I REALLY needed to post because I've been informed that "Sara has even posted!" :)

We've been gone so much lately, that I have been slacking...I know! I haven't taken my camera much, but I'll find something to post over the weekend. Here is the most recent photo I have. It was over the weekend on our way back from Peoria. His toes must taste delicious!

Something I've discovered over the last month that I'm hearing more and more people agree with is that ever since we got our portable DVD player, taking a nap during car time is never a possibility. I have to totally ignore the fact that the DVD player exists if I want to even think that he's going to fall asleep! It is nice to have - however, I loved how easy it was to put him to sleep! :)

We traveled to Cedar Falls on Monday and Saturday last week to watch the Keokuk Chief football team play in the state tournament. It was an awesome experience. They took the state title for Class3A.

The first photo is our crowd for the championship game. I walked over to the other side to take a picture because there was so many fans. Awesome! Blaker fell asleep before we were even out of the grass parking area after the game. He was so tired! Then the next photo is of my whole family that attended. The other photos are of the players receiving their trophy.

New PIctures

Zack and Blake were running at one another a few nights ago. Zack would jump over his head, and Blake would then fall laughing really hard. It was cute to watch!

This is Blake's new thing. He will walk around the house sometimes doing this. And he has occasionally done it when he doesn't get his way (and the bottom lip comes out). But most of the time he's just playing. It's really fun to watch all the new things he's doing!

We're slowly introducing the "potty." He knows what it is, but obviously doesn't have the concept yet. He will sit on it for a short period of time (like 1 minute). I decided to decorate it so he may like it a little more. It's a start! :)

Ava was visiting a few weekends ago, and we all sat and watched Annie the musical. It is Blake's favorite movie. Ava really enjoyed it as well. And then the three of us went and laid in my bed, and they both went RIGHT to sleep! Amazing; right?! I am sure that will never happen again! haha

Zack and I went to a bonfire a few weekends ago. It was nice to sort of relax because we have been on the go so much lately. It was so much fun to hang out with a great bunch of people!

Happy Halloween

I decided to try Blake's Halloween costume on him the other night. Since he was actually keeping it on, we decided to take pictures just in case the actual night doesn't go so swell. There is a handkerchief that goes around the neck. (it is supposed to be a horse or pony if you can't tell!)

Fall Cold

Last week Blake had the nasty cold that has been going around. It lasted for 8 days. One particular evening he had been sleeping for 20-30 minutes and he started coughing like crazy on all drainage in his throat. By the time I got into his bedroom and picked him up, he started gagging and threw up everywhere. He ate a late dinner and went to bed early - so nothing digested...plus he had a bottle right before bed. So I'll let you picture that! :( Zack was helping me clean the carpet, and we ended up having an extra helper. He thought it was so cool to help dad stomp on the towel. So he helped. Then he kept running at me with the camera. And we made him brush his teeth because he kept wanting to kiss us and man, oh, man - we both about threw up! :) He's all better now!!

And the last photo is one day when Kaci stopped for a visit while he wasn't feeling well. He never does this anymore - he's always on the go. She felt super special and felt we needed to capture the moment! He loves his Aunt "Acie."
